A NUCLEAR and waste management company and its collaborators have been rewarded for their creativity at the Institute of Chemical Engineers awards.
Sellafield Ltd, which has a base in Birchwood, along with the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) and De Dietrich Process Systems Ltd (DDPS) have won the accolade at the awards evening held at Cheltenham Racecourse, for the dust scrubber rebuild safeguards environmental protection project.
Paul Haworth, Chief Process Engineer at Hinton House in Birchwood said: "I am extremely proud that the team have won this award, especially for our engineers at Hinton House.
"It is an honour to have their work recognised."
