GLOBAL Freight Solutions (GFS), the UK’s leading parcel and carrier Management Company, will be expanding their business by setting up a new northern centre in the borough.
GFS will open its own depot at Taurus Park, in Westbrook, to expand its carrier management solutions.
Commercial director Daniel Ennor said: “The opening of our new depot enhances our service capability helping our customers increase the choice of delivery options which they can offer consumers and businesses alike.
“Our Warrington facility will complement our existing hub operation at Coventry Airport which has proved extremely successful.”
The new base will create 25 jobs at Taurus Business Park, half of which will be new recruits.
Mr Ennor sees this as a catalyst for the company’s expansion which will result in an increase of clients across northern and central England.
“We believe that by providing diverse delivery options at checkout supported by a single collection and our pro-active customer service functions, we can be of the greatest use to clients,” added Mr Ennor.
