AN ambitious Orford woman officially launched her new online PA company with Warrington South MP David Mowat.
Andrea LeVesconte, from Orford, held a party at Mojo Bar and Tapas restaurant in the town centre last Friday to celebrate the opening of Cheshire Virtual PA.
After a career working in businesses as a receptionist, senior management assistant and executive PA, Andrea finally made the leap with the help of David Mowat’s job club.
She said: “Once you have the drive and ambition to do something like this, there is so much help out there.
“I have gained so much in terms of the skills and finances needed to launch your own company from David Mowat and Winning Pitch in particular.
“It’s really not as frightening as people think.”
Meanwhile, Warrington South MP David Mowat has backed Andrea’s business idea and encouraged others to get involved with his jobs club.
The club meets bi-annually and Mr Mowat believes 85 per cent of the 200 adults who have joined in the last two years are now in employment.
He said: “Andrea joined our jobs club around two years ago.
“She quickly focused on starting a business and it’s great we can support her.
“The job club tries to make people realise there are alternatives and as the economy is starting to expand, we want these type of businesses to expand with it.”
