MP supports campaign at Golden Square
A WARRINGTON MP has shown his support for a campaign that encourages families to bond through creative activities.
David Mowat has praised the Golden Square community drive Get Creative for its encouragement of family values.
It acts as a replacement for government arts funding and offers families discounts at creative outlets in the area, including the Pyramid and Parr Hall and Norton Priory museum.
The Warrington south MP said: “This is a great response to the need to keep arts and creative activities at the forefront of family activities and I wholeheartedly support it.
“Arts, crafts and culture are so important to children’s development and the campaign will be a great way to help parents get their children involved in creative activities and help develop their talents!”
Get Creative loyalty cards can be picked up from the Golden Square’s customer service desk.
