Still time to register for crime vote Still time to register for crime vote

TIME is running out to register for your vote in the crime commissioners ballot.

The last date to register for the vote is 5pm next Wednesday.

If you have moved and not told the council you should complete a voter registration form, which can be sent to you or can be downloaded from the council at warrington.gov.uk or from the Electoral Commission website at aboutmyvote.co.uk.

It is also your last chance to register to apply to vote by post.

You can check that your name is included on the register by calling the council’s elections office on 442184 or e-mail elections@warrington.gov.uk .

Must admit that this is perhaps the first "election" where I am very tempted not to vote......simply because there has been sod-all information about it. An ill-informed choice is worse than no choice at all.

He said he hoped people would not vote because he did not believe the police commissioner role was "appropriate" for the country.
