A BUS aiming at highlighting how tax dodging is hurting the poor in the UK parked up at Warrington Town Hall on Monday.
Led by Christian Aid and Church Action, it was the last day of a 53-day tour of the country.
Many people climbed on board the 1960s red double decker bus, including Mayor of Warrington, Clr Steve Wright, the Bishop of Warrington, Rev Richard Blackburn, and the Methodist chairman of the Liverpool District, Rev James Booth.
Visitors were told that how tax dodging by multinational companies costs developing countries at least $160 billion a year. The figure in the UK was £35 billion.
