Warrington businesses turn out for networking event

Warrington Business Network hosts Tracy Griffiths, Hayley Brown and director of the Business Network group, Helen Bennett
A NETWORKING group attracted more than 150 business leaders to its launch in Warrington.
The Warrington Business Network hosted its first meeting at the Park Royal Hotel in Stretton.
Led by host Tracy Griffiths, the inaugural monthly luncheon attracted big names from Warrington-based heavy hitters such as Great Bear, Warrington Wolves, Asics and Flextronics.
Helen Bennett, director of the Business Network organisation, spoke about the groups’ success over the past 20 years.
She said: “It was fantastic to see so many influential people talking about their businesses with other like-minded business people.”
Also present was Neil Kelly, director of the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation, which has been chosen as the group’s charity of the year.
Tracy Griffiths, Business Network Warrington host, who also runs the successful membership group in Chester, said she was ‘thrilled’ at the variety of sectors represented at the launch.
The Lord Lieutenant of Chester David Briggs will be the guest speaker at the second Business Network Warrington event on November 8, which will also be held at the Park Royal.
