Reward issued following mass GHD theft
A £5,000 reward has been issued for information after almost 400 GHD hair straighteners were stolen from a warehouse in Appleton.
They have a retail value of almost £30,000 and owners of the warehouse, The Hut Group, are issuing the reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
Police say the burglary took place around 7.45pm on Saturday, October 6 at the Stretton Green Distribution Park, Langford Way, Appleton.
Officers say they are looking at CCTV footage and carrying out house-to-house and any forensic enquiries.
PC Kristian Bache, from Warrington South Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: "We are appealing for anyone who has any information in relation to this incident, which might assist with our enquiries, to come forward.
“We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen items − or are offered similar items. We would also appeal to anyone who knows the identity of the offenders to contact us immediately."
Anyone with any information should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 925 of October 6 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
