Winter driving roadshows hit Warrington
MOTORISTS can get their cars kitted out for winter at a series of roadshows across the borough.
The road safety team from Warrington Borough Council will be on hand to talk to drivers about driving in adverse weather conditions and information on prescribed medication.
You can also pick up a free driver pack including leaflets, an emergency crash card, ice scraper and a tyre depth check key ring.
Clr Linda Dirir, executive board member for highways, transportation and climate change, said: “It’s important for drivers to prepare themselves and their vehicles for winter and our teams are committed to helping motorists across the borough to get ready for the change in weather conditions. I would urge people to pay them a visit and pick up a free driver pack.”

Monday - Warrington Hospital.
Wednesday - Asda Birchwood.
Saturday, November 3 - Ikea.
Friday, November 9 - Birchwood Business Park.
Monday, November 12 and Saturday, November 24 - Warrington Test Centre.
Wednesday, November 21 - Warrington Collegiate.
Friday, November 23 - United Utilities, Lingley Mere.
Saturday, November 24 - Asda Westbrook.
