Can you beat the story of Paul Wood's Grand Final injury?

IN the wake of Paul Wood’s ball-busting efforts at Old Trafford on Saturday, we are asking readers to send us examples of your own sporting injuries.

What were you playing? What did you injure? How did it happen? Did you go to hospital, carry on playing, or even notice it at the time?

Please give as much detail as possible. The best, worst and most unusual will be used in next week’s issue.

Send your stories to matthew.hobbs@guardiangrp.co.uk along with your name, address and phone number.

Us casuals had a great day out we started at spoons had a beer and burger. Then legged it past all the people queing for tickets and got on packed train with no toilets working!!! Paid at Manchester and then on to deansgate had a few more steins them into the ground just before kick off! Game was ok shame about result, then drowned our sorrows in Manchester and paid 60 quid for a taxi home!
