RUGBY league junior stars visited Warrington for the first time last week.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs second team were in town and toured The Haliwell Jones stadium on Wednesday after taking a look at Warrington Wolves training facilities at the University of Chester's Padgate campus.

Skipper Troy Bushby, aged 29, said the team were impressed by Wolves home ground.

The Rabbitohs have also played tour matches against Yorkshire and Lancashire but were surprised by the physicality of English rugby.

Back rower Ware Harita-Pahi, aged 26, said: "You play against some really big boys here.

"There is a lot of emphasis on forward play and carrying it up the middle."
