Wolfie
WOLFIE joined up with Big Cig to officially launch the start of Stoptober at the Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub on Monday.
The campaign is encouraging people to stop smoking for the next 28 days and a campaign stand will be based in the leisure centre all month.
James Howes, from the Warrington Wolves Foundation, said "Warrington Wolves has joined forces with Livewire to promote and support the nationwide Stoptober campaign because smoking is the biggest cause of premature death in the UK.
“In Warrington, there are an estimated 34,000 smokers and we would like to encourage people to follow Wolfie's lead and kick smoking into touch!"
