Director David Griffiths with Warrington North MP Helen Jones
WARRINGTON North MP Helen Jones joined staff and directors of Sharples Group, the North West’s biggest independent print and copier supplier, to celebrate their tenth year in the town.
The MP toured the Kingsland Grange complex in Woolston and chatted to some of the 30 staff about their work.
The company currently has a turnover breaking the £3 million mark.
Director David Griffiths told the MP that when they were not working he and fellow director Mark Brocklehurst are often involved in fund raising events for charities.
He had completed a number of half-marathons and last year Mr Brocklehurst cycled the 874 miles from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise £35,000 for a ‘Lads and Girls Club’ to celebrate his 50th birthday.
Next year Mark Brocklehurst will join a small team of rowers for a gruelling 3,000 miles trip across the Atlantic.
