The way the rain was last week, I wouldn't have been surprised to find one in my garden!

Thanks Barrie I will log it on the Cheshire Wildlife database (RODIS). The Mersey Gateway Environmental Trust have just begun counting the Salmon at Woolston Weir so I hope he doesn’t eat too many as we are trying to gauge and mitigate the impact of the new Bridge across the River Mersey. If anyone else has more similar sightings then please let the Warrington Nature Conservation Forum know so that we can record the details. You can contact us through our new Facebook Site.
