Man taken to hospital with serious hand injury

AN air ambulance was called to a business in Woolston on Thursday lunchtime after a 26-year-old suffered a serious hand injury.
Police and the fire service were also called to Speedy Hire on Grosvenor Grange in Woolston around 12.30pm.
The man, from Skelmersdale, was taken to hospital and the HSE is now investigating the ‘industrial accident’.
