Warrington Friday Club set for birthday celebrations

THE Warrington Friday Club, which runs social activities for adults with learning difficulties, is throwing a birthday party this month to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
Operated entirely by volunteers, the organisation is inviting all former members and staff along to the event, to be held at St Oswald’s Social Club in Padgate, on Friday October 12, at 7.30pm.
A number of businesses, including Hancock and Wood and Unilever, will be providing raffle prizes to help raise funds for the club.
Regular club meetings are held every Friday night at St Bridget’s church in Cinnamon Brow.
