DR Jazz and the Cheshire Cats will be celebrating 10 years of music with a splash of Hollywood glitz and glamour.

The Lymm big band is joining forces with the South Warrington Oxfam Fundraising Group to put on an evening of ‘good food accompanied by a raft of Hollywood tunes’ at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton with all proceeds going to Oxfam.

Dr Catherine Tackley, Dr Jazz and music lecturer at The Open University, said: “We can’t believe it’s 10 years since we started on this journey. “We’ve played as far afield as Dublin, Cornwall and Durham, but always love to perform in front of our home crowd, so it is wonderful to be able to put on such a grand show back in Cheshire.”

The Hollywood Charity Ball is on November 2 and includes a three-course meal and raffle.
