Events firm make donation

EVENT organiser SJM Concerts has made a donation of £200 to Bolton Mountain Rescue for their assistance in the search for a missing man.

Bolton Mountain Rescue helped with the search for 22-year-old Christopher Brahney, from Timperley, who went missing after a Stone Roses concert in Heaton Park on June 29.

The firm, run by Warrington Wolves owner Simon Moran, wrote to the charity and said: “Thank you for your work following the Heaton Park concert in June.”

Mr Brahney’s body was recovered from the Manchester Ship Canal near Salford’s Media City, on July 9.
