THE cream of young talent was on show as youngsters went head to head to win Warrington’s Got Talent.

Parr Hall hosted the competition, organised by Golden Gates Housing Trust with support from Warrington Federation and CSOs Tony Spruce and Tom Reid from Cheshire Police.

Six-year-old street dancer Kaitlin Williams from Fearnhead was victorious in the five to 11 years old age range and 14-year-old singer/songwriter Emily Parr, from Culcheth, took the crown in the 12-19 year old category.

The Mayor of Warrington, Clr Steve Wright presented the winners with their prizes.

Alison Young, from GGHT has organised the event with help from Melissa Jackson.

She said: “It has been fantastic to see so many young people enter again this year.

"Each year we feel that it will be difficult to improve on the quality of talent that we have seen enter the competition in previous years and once again we all agreed that this was our best year yet for unearthing new talent.”
