Firefighters rescue horse stuck in ditch

FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of an unlucky horse who had got stuck in a ditch in Glazebrook.
Crews were called to Little Woolden Hall, off Holcroft Lane, at 10am today, Monday, after reports a man was also trapped in the mud but found the owner had freed himself.
A digger was used to help the horse.
