Van raided for tools in Penketh

POLICE need witnesses after tools were stolen from a van in Penketh yesterday.
The white van was parked in Warrington Road between the Red Lion pub and Co-op store when it was raided.
A rear sliding door was forced open, police say.
The incident took place between 4.30pm and 6.10pm.
Police are looking for a man seen in the area during that period.
He is described as 5ft 3ins tall, of stocky build with dark hair.
He wore a blue waterproof jacket with a blue stripe and may have been driving a blue Ford car.
