Fire station open day to take place today

RESIDENTS are being invited to Warrington fire station’s family open day this weekend.
The free event takes place from 11am to 4pm on Sunday and includes go-karts, bouncy slides, face painting, Gordon the fireman puppet and a bike workshop with the chance to win one of two bikes.
Firefighters will also be putting on equipment demonstrations and modern and vintage engines will be on display at the Winwick Road station.
