Bible barbecue to be held

THE Warrington and Halton Branch of the Gideons International, who place bibles and new testaments in schools, colleges and hotels, are planning to hold a barbecue at Emmaus Church, Capesthorne Road, Orford next weekend.

Taking place next Saturday, September 15, from 1pm to 3.30pm, it is open to anyone who would like to find out more about the work of the Gideons.

"Bible barbecue to be held"......I assume by this headline they don't use charcoal for the BBQ? I'm opting for the burger cooked on Leviticus......some good hefty skinniness pages in that bit!!
