Hatton Show gets lottery funding help
4:50pm Tuesday 4th September 2012 in News
HATTON Show will be bigger and better than ever thanks to National Lottery funding.
The popular community event takes place this Saturday and it has been handed a £2,000 Awards For All Grant to help make the show more accessible to visitors - especially for those with disabilities.
There will be more space in the marquees and a dedicated disabled car park along with extra seating, accessible toilets and large print signs.
The show will host competitions and exhibits showcasing the very best of rural traditions including floral, garden and farm produce as well as culinary and handicraft skills.
There will also be the usual pet and horse show, children’s activities and refreshments including a real ale bar.
The show takes place on land opposite Daresbury Church and gates open from 1.30pm to 5pm.
Admission is £3 for adults, £2.50 for OAPs, £1 for children and family tickets are £6.
