Youngsters raise money for Warrington Afghanistan Challenge

YOUNGSTERS from Warrington Youth Club raised £538 for the Warrington Afghanistan Challenge during a four day event in the town centre.
Headed by Warrington Hospital employee Phil Winstanley, the challenge is raising cash for a number of armed forces charities.
The event, which was run as part of the National Citizens certificate, included face painting, cake decorating and an exercise bike mile time trial challenge.
Phil, from Callands, said: “The young people were fantastic and worked really hard to pull everything together and should be really proud of their achievements.”
