Conman wanted for ripping off girlfriend

A FORMER Warrington resident is wanted by police for allegedly seducing a woman before ripping her off in a fraud scam.

Alan Harrison, previously of Quebec Road, Orford, is wanted for fraud and theft offences.

Police say the 45-year-old became involved with a woman in Wigan last year when two of her cars were sold, one without her permission.

Items were taken from her house, and loans taken out in her name and the name of her estranged husband.

Harrison’s relationship with that woman has now ended.

He has previously been convicted of a similar fraud when he married another female victim using false details, before scamming her.

Police say he was last seen in Warrington in February this year.

Anyone with information can call Wigan CID on 0161 856 7295.

I really don't understand how any woman could allow herself to be conned by him. It isn't like he is like some sort of greek god. He's ugly -inside and outside.

I was that victim...and i'm not a stuipd person either...he's a professional!

While I might feel sorry for you, can you explain what you saw in him that attracted you to him. It isn't like he is handsome or anything. He isn't all that either.
I don't care if he is a professional or not, it's easy enough to say 'no, go away!'

The man's an idiot. Always has been, always will be. He steals from one woman, to spend romancing the next. And they just keep on falling for it. At last count, I believe he is on his 9th child by 8 different women. Wonder who he spent this womans money on?

I am fully aware that conmen are highly manipulative and devious. I have had one or two try it on with me but they didn't get anywhere with it. They got told where to go but somehow I doubt if they would have gone there.

Don't be silly woman, I am not judging her just asking what she saw in him. As for people being charming no matter how nice or ugly looking they are one should always be aware that charmers can be suspect.

Totally unnaceptable!! this report is about a conman and his victims not somewhere for you to verbally abuse each other, have some respect! On the issue in hand I hope they find him soon and prosecute him and the victims can get some justice.

headinsand - you are completely right there! One thing I won't do though is hide away. I wont give him the satisfaction. I've got so much more support in my life now than I had when he was around and I'm fighting back now.

Really do need him caught before he tries to wreck anyone elses life. If anyone has and information where he can be found, please get in touch with the police.

Headinsand - if there is anything else you know that may lead the police to his wherabouts, please let the police know. If you look on the GMP Most Wanted website, there's a link you can complete under his details and it can be anonymous.
