Hospital to stage open day
WARRINGTON Hospital is throwing open its doors on September 15 for its second hospital family open day.
The event, which runs from 12.30 to 3.30pm, will include behind the scenes tours for residents to learn how the hospital works, information stands with tips on improving health and advice on hospital services.
The trust’s annual members’ meeting will also start at 3.30pm in the hospital education centre including a presentation of the trust’s annual report and accounts for the last year.
Around 400 people attended last year’s open day including Warrington Wolves player Chris Riley .
Stalls will be in and around the main entrance and education centre at the hospital and parking is free in the main hospital car park.
