What a shower the BBC lot are!

YOU really have to hand it to our BBC North West weather presenters.

This Sunday we were assured would be dry and fine.. the line which the lovely Eno was still sticking to in Sunday night’s fashion slot, despite seeing in the same bulletin all the poor bedraggled Creamfields crowd all squelching home in the quagmire which forced the cancellation of this big music showpiece!

the ones on the local radio stations are the same people, the roof of my conservertory was very nearly being broken by the rain,we had thunder and lightining and hail stone (yesterday)then some cheery voiced woman( the skinny one who likes horses) was telling me it would be fine and we could have a chance of a shower if unlucky!!!!!!! do they just read whats put in front of them as opposed to looking out of the window, its all just pot luck and do we need to have the weather broudcast 6 or 7 times a day, money for old rope.

Recently the BBC forecasts have got worse and worse.
Days in recent weeks where rain was certain for an entire day leading to families rearranging plans turn into beautiful summer days and then days forecast to be dry (as above) lead to soakings across the region.
We had more accurate forecasts in decades gone by.
As for Eno - Well I'm certainly not brave enough to tell her she's dreadful to her face. No man is that tough - but she keeps referring to the county of Cambria, quotes temps that bear no relation to what's on the screen, points at rain and says it will be clear and quite simply hasn't got the faintest idea what shes' doing. The wife and I reckon she must have pics of the NWT producers in compromising positions... There can be no other reason.
Sharpen it up BBC - even Liam Dutton gave up and moved to Channel 4 - I guess to get away from the dunderousness...
Hmmm dunderousness.
