Floods affect Warrington roads during Bank Holiday storms

The view from the family car
THE Higham family never thought they would need a boat to help them get to their holiday destination in Wales.
But one would have come in handy when the family, from Minerva Close, Latchford, encoutered this major flood on the A49 near to Lower Whitley.
This picture was taken by 13-year-old Craig Higham as their car struggled through the deep water on Sunday.
