Councillors to discuss Croft housing plan

CONTROVERSIAL plans to build 25 homes in Croft are due to be discussed by councillors on Thursday.

Members of the development control committee are due to meet at 6.30pm to discuss plans for the work on the site of the former HMS Gosling on Lady Lane.

It willl involved demolishing the existing building and replacing it with the four and five bedroom houses.

Almost 300 residents in Croft have objected to the plans as has Croft Parish Council and Croft borough councillor, Chris Vobe.
