Firefighters dig out boy stuck in mud

FIRE crews dug out a teenager stuck in mud in Chapelford  in Great Sankey on Friday night.

They were called to Burtonwood Road around 9.30pm to find a 15-year-old stuck in marshes up to his left hip.

Crews from Warrington, Widnes and Knutsford teamed up to release the boy.

A spokesman from the fire service said he was dug out by hand.

Years in the future Baldricks ancestors will dig up his perfectly preserved trainers and laugh at what stupid things we wore in the 21st century.
What's worse is they may believe we gifted them to the gods as they did in the middle ages.
