Birchwood eco car business takes on new plug-in car

ELECTRICITY North West has become the first UK business to take ownership of the model of a new plug-in car.
The Birchwood Park-based company, which operates the north west’s electricity distribution network and is currently preparing the region to support electric cars, will use the new Toyota Prius Plug-in as a pool car for its staff.
If the trial goes well, it plans to roll-out more of the eco-friendly vehicles across its fleet.
