Firefighters’ charity event at Birchwood next weekend

FIREFIGHTERS will be helping to raise cash for two good causes during a charity car wash next weekend.
Birchwood fire station, on Ordnance Avenue, will host the event on August 18 from 10am to 4pm to fundraise for children’s charity The Shannon Bradshaw Trust and The Fire Fighters Charity.
Visitors can also have their picture taken with charity mascot Paddy and free face painting.
