A GROUP of work colleagues got in the saddle to raise money for the Warrington Blind Society.

Stuart Chadwick and a group of from Northern Commercials cycled from their depot in Irlam to Brighouse in Yorkshire, a total of 54 miles, and raised £1,630 for the Warrington Blind Society.

The money will be used for the installation of a loop hearing system at their new home in the Fairfield and Howley Centre.

That's fantastic news - well done Stuart and colleagues a great effort
and a great load of cash that is needed for a good cause..
I would also like to thank - Ian and Maurice who have made the VIPs so welcome at the centre following
the recent move from our old centre in Museum Street and Uncle Bob and staff who organised and planned it, masterminded by Our Chair John Taylor.
Not to mention the local garage and AA who rescued me when I removed the front bumper on the Big Blue mini bus I drive, it was back in woking
order before anyone was any the wiser.
