5:10pm Monday 2nd July 2012 in News
A TOWN centre solicitors are hoping to get people on their bikes and support a Warrington charity.
Forster Dean Limited, Suez Street, are collecting damaged or unwanted bikes which will be handed over to staff from Cycling Projects who will mend and service them.
The charity hope to encourage more people to cycle and offer activities for people with disabilities.
Ian Tierney, manager of Cycling Projects, said: “The mended cycles will be offered to community members who have the most need for the cycle either as part of a mental health cycle initiative, a weight management programme or just using cycles as an affordable, healthy way of commuting to work.”
