Mum meets MPs for campaign

A GROUP campaigning for defibrillators to be available in every school will speak at a parliamentary reception on Tuesday.

SADS UK’s Big Shock campaign has launched a petition urging the Government to buy the life-saving equipment for every school.

North west co-ordinator Angela Morris, from Woolston, will be speaking to MPs about her son Colin who died from a cardiac arrest.

She said: “I know the pain of losing a child and to think that defibrillators aren’t compulsory is unbelievable. “I will continue to highlight the need for defibrillators and gain signatures for the SADS UK petition so that the Government take action.”
