Blister Sisters on marshall duties for St Rocco's Starlight Walk

WALKING the Starlight Walk is hard enough for most.
But The Blister Sisters will also be taking up marshalling duties for the 13-mile walk to help raise money for St Rocco’s Hospice on June 22.
The group comprises work colleagues from Unilever who have supported the St Rocco’s Starlight Walk for a number of years and this year they are doing the walk in what Jane Watson describes as a bit of a relay.
The sisters consist of Win Green, Caroline Rushton, Gill Boardman, Jane Watson, Denise Bate, Golly Bate, Jackie Jones, Becky Jones and Margaret Docherty.
Caroline said: “We know how important the Starlight Walk is for St Rocco’s in raising money for the hospice.
“Both roles are crucial as the walkers raise lots of money but the walk can’t go ahead without the many marshals that are needed to make sure the walkers are safe.”
