THE illustrator of a BAFTA-winning children’s cartoon shared his own inspiring story to adult learners.
Curtis Jobling, designer of BBC show Bob The Builder, spoke at a workshop organised by Warrington Borough Council’s lifelong learning team as part of adult learner’s week.
His workshop at Golden Square shopping centre was part of a week celebrating the achievements of hundreds of adult learners.
Glennis Hassall, adult curriculum manager at Priestley College said: “His success has come through hard work, family support and never giving up.
“He didn’t go through formal training so hopefully his talk will be an inspiration.”
Priestley College supplies many part-time courses for adult learners.
Glennis added: “This week will have provided further encouragement for them to on and achieve greater things, for adults it’s never too late.”
