Bridgewater High School teacher Mr Glew allowed to return

A BRIDGEWATER High School teacher suspended in connection with pictures on a naturism website will not lose his job.

Warrington Borough Council has announced that the investigation into the nude image of Robert Glew has now finished.

Timothy Long, head teacher of Bridgewater High School, said: "Following a thorough internal investigation, the member of staff remains employed by the school.

“It would be inappropriate to discuss any further details."

The head of modern languages was suspended in February after a picture of him taking part in a naturism event came to light.

It is believed pupils at the Appleton school became aware of the photo and informed staff.

I trust this will send a clear message to all teachers and their employers that there is absolutely nothing wrong with naturism and that it is not in any way incompatible with their role. Further, I hope that naturist teachers will gain confidence to 'come out' and proclaim the health and psychological benefits of naturism. Meanwhile, let's all pray that this teacher can get back to work with no hint of a stain on his record and with his head held high.

The kids obviously searched for his name on the internet and found those results. Maybe they will be a little more enlightened and accept naturism.
