Chance to make an impression at global company in Appleton

Mike Meades
A SOFTWARE company in Appleton is looking for five students to fill summer internships.
Flextronics Global Services and Software, based at Stretton Green, is offering five paid internships across its customer services, IT, HR, finance and operations/business excellence teams.
Mike Meades, FGSS general manager, said: “The graduate jobs market in the UK is becoming increasingly competitive and those looking at getting their first job need to stand out from the crowd.
“Relevant work experience is a great way to do that as employers these days can afford to be selective and are looking for a combination of academic success and work-based learning when appointing employees.
“These internships will offer us a fresh impetus but more importantly it will help undergraduates enhance their career prospects through hands-on experience of working for a global company.”
FGSS this year celebrates 15 years in Warrington where it employs around 250 staff.

After 2 years of job seeking I'm beginning to think all these graduate positions are simply cheap labour. Another tactic I've noticed is throwing "junior" into the job title and offering significantly less wage as expected.
