All that could happen if we elected the second chamber is that one party ends up with a majority in both chambers and has no real bar to its plans, no matter how extreme.
Abdicate and admit the monarchy is a feudal hangover which, along with an unelected House of Lords, makes a mockery of the UK being called a democracy.

Long may Her Gracious Majesty reign. I hope long enough to celebrate her platinum jubilee.

The situation you describe with an elected upper chamber is in no way inevitable - particuarly if elections are not held at the same time as for the lower chamber - and on a different basis.

Bowes-Lyon is a Scottish/Irish/Engli
sh origin name. So we see that Her Gracious Majesty The Queen. rather than being an imported dynasty is in fact as english as you or I.

Go and live in Norfolk and raise corgi's. You could make a decent living out of it.
Your children and their children could then go and earn some money.

As for your second remark - this is my country and I shall carry on living here.Your remark has as much validity as if I said you should move to a monarchy such as Saudi Arabia or a nation with an herditary head of state such as North Korea.

They come to see history and culture.
I'll repeat myself, the royal family should die out after the Queen herself dies.

If they proved unworthy or just not up to the job they could be voted out after a four or fivde year term (try voting out a monarch who fails to live up to Lizzy's standards)
There would, of course, be nothing to stop Charlie Boy, or his sons standing.
