Go composting crazy in Warrington for awareness week

GET green and help recycle garden and food waste for International Compost Awareness Week.

Warrington Borough Council’s recycling team will be holding a week of activities as part of the week which runs from Sunday to next Saturday.

Officers will be at Long Lane Garden Centre, in Orford, from Wednesday, May 9 to Friday, May 11 offering information about home composting and details of discounted compost bins to the public.

They will also be spreading the message that more can be recycled than your think.

Many think that only garden waste can be composted but vegetable peelings, old tea bags and egg shells can go in there too.

Ohh thats handy....only doing them on a weekday! i guess the many of us who work in the week will have miss out again??

And im sure your not bothered fi poeple dont compost and try and do their bit, after all its only your kids who have to live in the world after were gone!

lmao munky, my house is paid for but not by you or anyone else. We built our own house and have no mortgage or rent to pay. How's about that then?
I sit in my house with no cares and no worries because I can afford to. As for my brood, I do believe that they have been raised to have more respect for other people than you appear to have been, and all my grandchildren are being raised in a like manner, i.e. to care and have have respect for other people, their situations, and their views. Nuff said.

Ohh and sticking a B&Q shed on the back over your kitchen door isnt classed as 'building your own house', its not even an extention! Now wind your neck in and get back to your chip pan....your kids will be hungry!!!
