A glimpse of what the store will look like A glimpse of what the store will look like

STOCKTON Heath supermarket Morrisons will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, ahead of a revamp.

The Greenalls Avenue store will re-open on Thursday with a new 'store of the future' look.

Changes include new lines of fresh fruit and vegetables including white asparagus, kohlrabi, white beetroot and purple potatoes.

Ice beds and misting technology is also being installed to keep produce fresh. William Roe, Morrisons store of the future director, said: “We believe that customers will have never seen a supermarket like this before and we look forward to welcoming our existing and new customers into the store.”
