FIFTEEN members of staff at Warrington Borough Council earned more than £100,000 a year in 2010/11 according to new figures.
The so-called Town Hall Rich List, collated by the TaxPayers’ Alliance, places Warrington midway in the country for the number of staff picking up more than £100,000.
Barnet has the highest number at 47.
Included in the list published today, Wednesday, is the figures for those individuals.
Rumeneration, including salary, pension payments and other incentives, included £198,519 for chief executive Diana Terris, £144,000 for Andy Farrall, director of environment and £131,811 for assistant chief executive Katherine Fairclough.
A spokesperson for Warrington Borough Council said: "Fifteen people were employed by the council on total remuneration packages (including employers' pension contributions) of over £100 000 in the 2010/11 financial year.
"Of these 15, two were only included once redundancy and/or compensation for loss of office payments were taken into account.
"A further six people were employed as agency staff on a band of £100 000 pro rata, although most of these were employed for shorter term contracts."
Warrington was originally listed fifth by the alliance but that was changed due to mistakes in calculations.
