PUPILS from across Warrington have been learning more about money thanks to a new project.
Warrington Wolves Foundation charity and staff from Barclays Bank have teamed up for the Money Skills project.
The activity has taken place at The Halliwell Jones Stadium and has seen more than 200 children from schools such as St Elphin’s, Oakwood Avenue, Padgate, Dallam, Evelyn Street and St Barnabas, taking part in a tour and covering the importance of money matters, such as trying to stay debt free.
Neil Kelly, Wolves Foundation director, added: “In the current economic climate we think it’s very important to educate young people on the importance of looking after their finances both now and in the future.”
If any schools would like to take part in the Money Skills project in the new year call Natalie on 248894.
