WITH only two league games to go, there are joint leaders at the top of the Earlestown Town Furnishings Snooker League.
Haydock Catholic and Vicars share pole position. Haydock Catholic this week beat third placed Haydock Reading Room 4-2 and Vicars beat Garswood Labour B 5-1.
In third place, four points behind the leaders, are Golborne Catholic A who beat the Viaduct 5-1, J. Burke being the only Viaduct winner against J. Bentham.
CYMS A had a good 5-1 win at Stubshaw Cross Labour A. Earlestown Cons also won 4-2 at Golborne Catholic B.
CYMS B beat Stubshaw Cross Labour B 4-2, the only drawn game was between Garswood Labour A and Vulcan.
Mark Dinsdale (CYMS A) still holds the highest break so far this season with a 77; most wins of the season is held by Mark Thompson (Haydock Catholic) with 20 from 24 games.
Tim McDonald (Golborne Catholic A) is second with 19 from 24.
