AN appeal has been launched for more volunteers to collect for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Warrington.

The charity needs more held with its Great Daffodil Appeal.

Julie Peters, community fundraiser said: “Many shops and businesses in Warrington have very kindly offered to take a box of our daffodils which are already on their way to them but we need volunteers to help us bring them back in.

“Volunteers are needed to pick the boxes up at the end of the appeal, count and bank the money.

“This is such a vital role as we need to get the money that local people have kindly donated in the bank so we can get it where it is needed, providing local nursing care.“ If you’d like to help call 0161 255 2809.
