Four slimmers set up own classes

FOUR Warrington slimmers have celebrated shedding a combined 10-stone by launching their own weight loss groups.

Jacqui Bromley, from Stockton Heath, Linda Spickernell, from Culcheth, Debbie Worthington, from Lymm, Sara Murray, from Appleton, are setting the groups up in Birchwood, Appleton, Woolston and Lymm after spending the past year on a weight loss kick with Slimming World.

Linda said: “I joined my group in Birchwood after spending years overweight and after many a failed attempt at losing weight, I thought this would end in the same way.

“How wrong I was. Not only did I find a warm and understanding welcome when I walked into the room on my first night, I was amazed that I could eat such hearty, filling meals as spaghetti bolognese, steak and chips, curries and chocolate. With Slimming World’s weekly in-group support, I was soon hit my target weight.”

Jacqui will take her place as a Slimming World consultant at The Mission, in Woolston, on Wednesdays at 5.30pm.

Linda will be based at Birchwood Shopping Centre on Mondays at 7pm, Debbie at Lymm Youth and Community Centre on Tuesdays at 5.15pm and Sara at Appleton Thorn Primary School on Wednesdays at 6.30pm.

I live in Stockton Heath and my company has recently launched a free to use website that might be useful to your members. It is called Purple Weight Loss (<a href="http://www.pur
pleweightloss.com">w
ww.purpleweightloss.
com</a>. It provides anyone who is looking to lose weight with a free weight loss plan along with a food and exercise diary to help monitor calorie intake and expenditure which is crucial in the effort to reach that goal weight.

Anyway, I hope this is of some use and good luck to you all with your classes.
