SMALL businesses have been told to be wary of cold callers claiming to be from Cheshire Constabulary.
Organisations being targeted by people cold calling or asking to partake in phone advertising, saying they are the police or working on behalf of the police, should contact trading standards.
The police do not cold call or take part in phone advertising.
