FREE advanced driving courses are being offered to 17 to 25-year-olds to try to reduce the number of fatal accidents.
Warrington Road Safety Partnership, in conjunction with Warrington Advanced Motorists, is running the courses to help inexperienced young drivers.
Drivers are asked to pay £79 for the lessons, books, test fee and 12 months’ subscription to the Institute of Advanced Motorists. The money is then refunded in full, when the motorist has passed the advanced driving test.
For other motorists outside this age group, the fee is £99.
Warrington Advanced Motorists meet every Sunday morning at 10am, between the Aldi and Iceland car parks at the junction of Liverpool Road and Crosfield Street, in the centre of Warrington.
Drivers do not have to book in advance but motorcyclists should contact Gordon Blackshaw first on 860967.
Call Ian Bell on 634484 for more details.
